The CUBIC® graphite block heat exchanger is an ideal solution for handling highly corrosive liquid chemicals, used for heating, cooling, condensation, and absorption in aggressive chemical processes. It is designed for efficient performance where both the process and service media are corrosive.

Design Concept

Horizontal and vertical rows of holes are drilled into solid graphite blocks to form the process and service channels. Heat is transferred through the solid, impermeable graphite wall between these channels. The graphite blocks are then encased in a durable steel shell, which includes all necessary nozzle connections for installation.

The POLYBLOC® heat exchanger is one of the most adaptable graphite designs available. It consists of graphite blocks with horizontal and vertical hole patterns drilled to create process and service channels. Heat is transferred through the impermeable graphite walls separating these channels. The blocks are encased in a steel shell, providing structural integrity and connection points.
