GAB Neumann Ring-Grooved Graphite Heat Exchangers
Efficient heat recovery between ultra-corrosive fluids
The GPX1, GPX1T, and GPX2 impregnated graphite heat exchangers from GAB Neumann feature a ring-grooved design that is particularly well-suited for heating or cooling ultra-corrosive liquid chemicals. This unique construction also enables efficient heat recovery between two highly corrosive media.
Design Concept:
Ring-shaped grooves are machined into cylindrical graphite blocks to form the process and service channels. Heat transfer occurs through the solid graphite wall between these grooves. The exchanger is composed of graphite cylinders bonded together, creating a durable and chemically resistant unit.
